Aging & Family Services of Mineral County began providing services for the people of our community in 1974 as the Mineral County Committee on Aging.

Over time, our organization has become a diverse service administering many programs that provide nutrition, home based care, basic living needs and important referral and networking services to assist residents in locating resources that can serve their needs.

Our mission is broadening to address the total needs of local families, particularly as they relate to the physical and emotional well being of older residents in Mineral County.

DONATIONS

Aging and Family Services provides services to over 5,000 senior citizens that call Mineral County, WV home.  With recent budget cuts and increases in the cost to provide these services we are finding it difficult to continue to provide the high quality of service we have in the past.  Frail seniors are sometimes put on waiting lists because funding is not available for their in-home care or their home delivered meal.  If you would like to help please click on the DONATE button below.  You will be taken to a form where you will be able to donate the amount of your choice to help us continue to provide these services.  Your donation may be tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt for your donation.  You may also specify where the donation is used.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
